RTN wasn't created to help someone else. It was built as a direct response to our co-founder's own struggles — a brand they wished had existed during the hardest parts of their healing journey. That personal foundation is at the heart of everything we do.

Products & Ingredients:

Topical Steroid Withdrawal (TSW) — also known as Red Skin Syndrome — is a condition that can develop after prolonged use of topical corticosteroids (steroid creams). When the skin becomes dependent on steroids and use is reduced or stopped, the skin can react severely.
Symptoms often include intense redness, burning, itching, flaking, oozing, and skin that feels raw or hypersensitive. TSW can be physically and emotionally debilitating, and recovery timelines vary widely from person to person.
Our products are formulated with sensitive, compromised skin in mind — drawing on our co-founder's own experience going through TSW. We focus on gentle, skin-supportive ingredients that avoid known irritants and harsh chemicals.
That said, everyone's skin and healing journey is unique. We always recommend consulting with a healthcare professional when managing TSW, and listening closely to your own body's signals.
No — though they often overlap and can be difficult to distinguish. Eczema (atopic dermatitis) is a chronic skin condition characterised by dry, itchy, inflamed skin. TSW is a reaction specifically caused by reducing or stopping topical steroid use.
Because steroids are commonly prescribed for eczema, many people experiencing TSW also have a history of eczema — but the two conditions have different causes and require different approaches.
