RTN was born from lived experience. Our co-founder personally suffered from Topical Steroid Withdrawal (TSW) and eczema — and found that the mainstream options available fell far short of what was actually needed.
RTN wasn't created to help someone else. It was built as a direct response to our co-founder's own struggles — a brand they wished had existed during the hardest parts of their healing journey. That personal foundation is at the heart of everything we do.

Everything we formulate is guided by our core principle: do no harm. That means clean, minimal ingredient lists, no unnecessary additives, and a focus on ingredients that genuinely support the skin barrier and overall wellbeing.
We approach formulation from the perspective of someone who has been through TSW and eczema, which means we know firsthand how damaging the wrong product can be, and how important it is to get this right.
Absolutely. Given our co-founder's personal experience with TSW, being completely steroid-free is non-negotiable for us. No RTN product contains topical corticosteroids of any kind.

Products & Ingredients:

Topical Steroid Withdrawal (TSW) — also known as Red Skin Syndrome — is a condition that can develop after prolonged use of topical corticosteroids (steroid creams). When the skin becomes dependent on steroids and use is reduced or stopped, the skin can react severely.
Symptoms often include intense redness, burning, itching, flaking, oozing, and skin that feels raw or hypersensitive. TSW can be physically and emotionally debilitating, and recovery timelines vary widely from person to person.
Our products are formulated with sensitive, compromised skin in mind — drawing on our co-founder's own experience going through TSW. We focus on gentle, skin-supportive ingredients that avoid known irritants and harsh chemicals.
That said, everyone's skin and healing journey is unique. We always recommend consulting with a healthcare professional when managing TSW, and listening closely to your own body's signals.
No — though they often overlap and can be difficult to distinguish. Eczema (atopic dermatitis) is a chronic skin condition characterised by dry, itchy, inflamed skin. TSW is a reaction specifically caused by reducing or stopping topical steroid use.
Because steroids are commonly prescribed for eczema, many people experiencing TSW also have a history of eczema — but the two conditions have different causes and require different approaches.

Yes — we accept returns on untampered, unopened products. If you'd like to make a return, please get in touch with our team and we'll guide you through the process.
Because our products are designed for sensitive skin, we're unable to accept returns on items that have been opened or used. We appreciate your understanding.
However, We want every customer to feel confident purchasing with us. If something isn't right with your order, please get in touch and we'll work to make it right.
We're working to make RTN products available to as many people as possible.
As of right now, we currently ship within the United States only. International shipping isn't available just yet.
